No Data Collection
The app does not collect, transmit or store any personal information on external servers. It makes no network requests; all content ships inside the app.
What Stays on Your Device
The following data is stored locally on your device and never leaves it:
- Run log (score, cinders cleared, Scorches, best Scorch streak, Ridge, duration and date of each run) in a local Room database; the app shows your 30 most recent runs
- Your best score, highest Ridge reached and total run count, saved with Android DataStore
- Settings (haptic on hop, tap hint) and whether the intro screen was shown, saved with Android DataStore
Haptic feedback uses the standard system haptics and needs no vibration permission. Settings → Reset progress clears the run log, best score, Ridges and settings.
Uninstalling the app or clearing its data in Android settings deletes it permanently.
No Analytics or Advertising
The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising network, no crash-reporting service and no third-party code that sends data anywhere.
No Accounts
You do not need to create an account, sign in or provide any contact information to use the app.
Permissions
The app does not request any special Android permissions.
Diagnostic Information
If the app crashes, Google Play may collect a standard crash report through Android system diagnostics, depending on your device settings. We do not receive any personal information from these reports.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
